WHY
The purpose of this meeting is to conduct Union Elections for the following Union Officers: President, Treasurer, Secretary, and the Chapter Chairperson and Vice-Chapter Chairperson for each unit, and Local 1315 Delegates. Voting will take place in person on Monday, June 3, 2024 @ 4:30 PM in the Cafeteria at the Herberg Middle School, 501 Pomeroy Avenue, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
Any member of the Pittsfield Federation of School Employees in good standing may run and hold elected office within the Local.
Any member of the Pittsfield Federation of School Employees in good standing may nominate themselves or another member in good-standing for elected office within the Local.
Nominations for elected office with Local 1315 are done by completing a nomination form below. Any member of Local 1315 wishing to be nominated for office must obtain the required number of signatures on the Nomination Form and return the form to the Elections Committee no later than May 22, 2024. The Elections Committee will also be accepting nomination forms in person at the Special Membership Meeting on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. This meeting will be held in the Cafeteria at the Herberg Middle School starting at 5:15 P.M.
