SAY "THANK YOU" TO THOSE WHO SUPPORT US
Dear Member of Local 1315,
Last night the School Committee failed to do their job! They abdicated their responsibility to our commmunity in favor of the "status quo". They failed to do the right thing for our students and our members. They chose an "austerity agenda" driven by the business community over the best interests of our children.
If there is a positive from the last night's results, it's that there is a group of Local Elected Officials that stood up for us, our members, and the children of Pittsfield. Please join with me in sending a huge "Thank You" to each of them. We need to let them know that their efforts on behalf of our members and the children of Pittsfield did not go unnoticed. Standing up to the those in power is never easy - but it is how we make change happen!

We Are Not Done! We need to help out the elected officials who turned their back on our community and refused to do the right thing for the children of Pittsfield. We need to help these folks out of office!
