WHY
The purpose of this meeting is to review a proposed Settlement Agreement which would settle an Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) charged filed against the Pittsfield Public Schools for hiring staffing agency to fill vacancies in Paraprofessional Unit positions, and to conduct a ratification vote (to accept or reject) the proposed agreement:

The proposed Settlement Agreement would modify language, hourly rates of pay, and stipends contained in the current collective bargaining agreement (contract). Only Paraprofessionals who are union members in good standing may vote to accept or reject the proposed settlement agreement.
